The Potters Arms comedy nights are very well established on the comedy circuit, with monthly events taking place in the friendly pub. Across the bank holiday weekend the team were pleased to reintroduce their Comedy Festival which took place in a specially pitched marquee on the village green. Proving that laughter really is the medicine the team choose to support Scannappeal with a raffle across the weekend raising a magnificent £1,130.00.
Karen Shardlow, Head of Fundraising for Scannappeal said ‘having first met Richard in January 2020 when he was busy planning for a festival, which had to be postponed like so many other events it was terrific to receive the call to say this years festival was going ahead.
