This festive season we have five suggestions for you to take on which will help make a difference to our local NHS hospitals.
1) Volunteer at our Christmas gift wrapping service.
With the season of goodwill fast approaching why not volunteer at Scannappeal’s annual Christmas gift wrapping service and help make a difference to Bucks NHS hospitals.
Back for our fourth year Scannappeal staff and volunteers will be wrapping gifts for the public indoors at the Eden Shopping Centre, High Wycombe. If you can spare a couple of hours to volunteer at this great festive event, we would love to hear from you.

2) Snip and save your postage stamps.
As Christmas cards land on your doorstep, please snip off the stamp for Scannappeal. We recycle used postage stamps for cash to raise funds for vital medical equipment for Bucks NHS hospitals. We accept UK and Foreign stamps and you can send them to us already snipped, with approx. 1cm boarder around each stamp, or if it’s easier you can send them directly to us and we will arrange snipping and sorting. Every stamp really does have a value, so even standard first and second class stamps are worth keeping and passing on to us.
3) Turn your online shopping into £££’s for Scannappeal.
If you are doing your Christmas shopping online this year, consider using one of the methods listed below, which will result in a donation to Scannappeal.
Easyfundraising – By logging onto www.easyfundraising.org.uk and selecting Scannappeal you will be able to shop with retail favourites such as John Lewis, M&S, Boden and many more. After you have completed your purchases, the retailer will make a free donation to Scannappeal.
Amazon Smile – Log onto www.smile.amazon.co.uk using your normal login details rather than the normal Amazon site and they will donate 0.5% of your net purchase to Scannappeal. Same products, same prices, same service, you are just supporting Scannappeal at the same time at no additional cost to you.
4) Donate your general fiction, crime and children’s books to us.
If you have any good quality current general adult fiction, crime and children’s books that you no longer need, please consider donating them to our book shops at: Wycombe, Amersham and Stoke Mandeville hospital.

5) Donate unwanted Christmas gifts to our raffles and tombola’s.
