A big thank you to Amersham Rotarians for responding to our latest call for help in these difficult times. A wonderful donation of £1,000 arrived electronically instead of meeting in person for a cheque presentation. This will go towards some specialist anaesthetic equipment to benefit certain groups of patients, such as children and people with dementia, who need to be mildly sedated whilst being scanned. This latest support follows the club’s fundraising last year for the Bucks MRI Appeal for the new scanner at Wycombe hospital when 2018/19 President Richard McKeen presented a cheque for £5,000 during his presidential year.
