Some of Scannappeal’s longstanding supporters were entertained at Pipers, near Great Missenden, at a private event last week hosted by William Baxter CBE, Chairman of Scannappeal. Guests were able to look around the house and gardens and heard a talk about its history. Sir Henry Aubrey Fletcher, who is a Patron of Scannappeal, explained the difference that regular givers had made to the charity’s work and clinicians from the cardiology, gastroenterology and paediatric orthopaedic departments demonstrated some of the equipment that Scannappeal has funded in recent years. Entertainment was provided by Allsorts saxophone quartet and the event raised nearly £1,500.
