To mark Breast Cancer Awareness month, we have teamed up with local artist Jennie Roberts* to produce an exclusive collection of ceramic art entitled Boobi Birds. The ceramic birds are all unique with only 35 made to coincide with Scannappeal’s 35th Anniversary. The Boobi Birds are the perfect gift to give anyone who perhaps has gone through, or who is going through breast cancer, or for anyone who is a lover of art and would like to own a unique piece.
Money raised from the sale of these beautiful little birds will benefit the Breast Unit at Wycombe hospital. Since 2004 Scannappeal have funded over £1m worth of specialist breast equipment for the Breast Unit at Wycombe including a recent £350,000 dedicated Breast Biopsy Suite.
