Originally named Meadhams Farm, a previous owner had, as a child, declared that “one day” she would like to own the property. When she eventually achieved this ambition, the name was duly changed to One Day Farm!
There are over 80 roses in the garden making it very much a June/July garden although spring bulbs swiftly followed by primulas and siberica irises around the pond make for stunning early interest. Although manicured lawns are an important feature of the formal garden, more areas are being left to grow wild to add to the already vibrant insect and fauna habitats. A new planting of multi stemmed flowering cherry was undertaken in 2023, under planted with wood anemones. Musical entertainment throughout the afternoon will be provided by local musicians, All Sorts.
Tickets: £12 in advance and includes tea, coffee and cake.
