Join our hospital hike team at the Golden Ball car park West Wycombe for the final 15.5 miles of the hospital hike route. From West Wycombe we will pass through Stokenchurch, High Wycombe (hospital) and Penn before reaching the finishing line at Amersham hospital.

Our Hospital Hike aims to bring patients, family, friends and neighbours from across our community together with the common goal of raising funds for Buckinghamshire NHS hospitals. You can walk as an individual or as part of a team, which ever you choose rest assured you will be walking with the Scannappeal family.

FAQ’s

When does the hike take place? Walkers completing the 15.5 mile route will join the group on Sunday 11 September. The two day hike starts on Saturday 10 September.

How much does it cost to take part? A Registration fee of £25 per person is payable, plus a sponsorship commitment of £350.00 or more. These costs cover all expenses including group guides, food and insurance.

How far is the hike? The guided route will cover 15.5 miles. A full training plan will be shared, plus you will receive lots of encouragement and top tips as we get closer to the event.

Where does the 15.5 mile route start and finish? The starting point is the Golden Ball car park in West Wycombe, the finishing line is at Amersham hospital.

Will there be transport back to the starting point? No, you will be responsible for your own transport.

Can I walk with friends? Yes, we really encourage you to ask friends and family to join you and we can make sure groups of friends walk together.

How will my fundraising help Scannappeal? Our local NHS hospitals do so much for those living here in Bucks. By fundraising to support Scannappeal you are recognising their efforts and helping us to ensure we can continue to fund world class equipment. Our latest appeals can be viewed here.
