Description: A group of 4 very different gardens located within Wendover. lionel
avenue – Half acre mature organic garden with wildlife corners. There are flowering
shrubs as well as indigenous trees and exotic trees such as Catalpa and Ginkgo
Biloba. There are fruit trees and fruit bushes and a stream runs through the middle
of the garden. perry street – This mature traditional ¼ acre garden features a
central lawn surrounded by fruit trees, densely planted beds, flowering shrubs, a
vegetable patch and a small pond.Hale road – This large relaxed garden is divided
into four areas – a raised patio with a small water feature looks out over two
separate lawn areas each with its own feel featuring shady areas amongst roses,
ferns and a variety of shrubs. There is also a front lawn surrounded by shrubs and
plants. abbeyfield – Come and relax in the comfortable seating areas of this
garden which has a wide range of ornamental shrubs on display. Delicious cream
teas will be available to purchase throughout the afternoon.

Directions: All directions start at the Clock Tower in Wendover: Lionel Avenue –
follow the Aylesbury Road and Lionel Avenue is approx 500m on the left. Perry
Street – from the Aylesbury Road Perry Street is the third turning on the left. Hale
Road – follow the Tring Road and take Hale Road (first turning on the right). No 44
is approx 600m on the right opposite Hale Lane turning. Abbeyfield – take the
High Street towards Amersham and Dobbins Lane is on the right just before the
next roundabout. Abbeyfield is approx 100m on the left.
Parking: On the street avoiding neighbours driveways.
