Set in the heart of Penn, Dell Cottage, built in 1792, has a charming ½ acre cottage garden. Three years ago, the garden was extensively damaged by a major sewer burst and remained so for almost two years. However, the owners have now lovingly restored it with a new lawn, new planting and thoughtful design bringing every corner back to life. The result is a tranquil and inviting space, full of colour, texture and seasonal interest. Throughout the afternoon, visitors will have the opportunity to hear the story of the garden’s restoration, as well as enjoy tea and cake amidst its beauty.
