Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) invites you to its Open Day and Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Stoke Mandeville Hospital on Saturday, 14 September 2024.
The AGM kicks off at 9.15am, offering insights into BHT’s performance over the past year and future plans for healthcare in Buckinghamshire.
Following the AGM, from 10am to 2pm, enjoy the Open Day! Take unique behind-the-scenes tours of departments like ophthalmology, operating theatres, and the mortuary. Meet clinical teams, health and care partners, and voluntary sector organisations. Participate in interactive activities such as a Makaton taster session, build-a-brain competition, and lung function tests. Young people can explore healthcare career opportunities at the careers fair, featuring talks from local universities and colleges.
Don’t miss the Scannappeal Tea Tent for delicious cakes and refreshments. Bring your family and friends for a fun, informative day. Free parking and food and drink for purchase will be available, along with entertainment from local community groups.
