Spend a wonderful afternoon with author and bee keeper Meriet, aka “The Queen Bee,” as you learn about the fascinating and beautiful world of the honeybee.

Meriet became a beekeeper after falling in love with honeybees and quickly discovered how much our planet relies on them and what incredible little creatures they are. She wanted the world to know what she was learning, so set about writing a children’s book, Betsie Valentine And The Honeybees, which would entertain as well educate children about the life cycle and importance of the honeybee.

Meriet will discuss all things honeybees and all the good that they do, including producing honey, pollen, propolis. She will also highlight that all products produced by the honeybees, contain antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti inflammatory and anti cancer properties.

Enjoy an afternoon discovering and learning about the wonderful bees, enjoy a slice of cake and a cup of tea with the opportunity to buy Meriet’s enchanting books, Betsie Valentine and The Honeybees.

Long live the honeybees… long live us all!

Tickets are £15 each and includes tea/coffee and cake.
