An adaptation of the classic 1957 musical directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg\, West Side Story explores forbidden love and the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks. Battle lines between the two gangs are clearly drawn until Maria comes to town to visit her brother and Sharks leader Bernardo. Falling for the Jets-aligned Tony the story turns from a simple tale of fisticuffs into one of betrayal\, sacrifice and the terrible price of following your heart. \nThe film has fantastic reviews and Golden Globes’ success including best musical or comedy film; Rachel Zegler\, who stars as Maria\, was named best actress; and co-star Ariana DeBose won best supporting actress for her role as Anita. \nDoors open at 6.30pm\, film starts at 7.30pm prompt. Event ends at approx 10.00pm. \nTickets are £20 each and include a welcome drink. \nNo under 18’s. \nFree on site parking.
